Brunswick Weekend Review

BRUNSWICK, OH- - The Brunswick Blue Devils had two games this weekend and they went a perfect 2-0 after destroying both Valley Forge and Mayfield. On Friday night the Blue Devils traveled to Parma to take on the Valley Forge Patriots (3-12) in a Northeast Ohio Conference Crossover game. This game was close early after being tied at 19 after the first quarter, but Brunswick took control after that. The Blue Devils won the game 70-39 and were lead by seniors Pat Forsythe who had 33 points and Matt Dunning who finished with 16 points. Forsythe almost outscored the Patriots by himself as Valley Forge was held scoreless in the fourth quarter. The Patriots leading scorer was Nick Ho with 20 points.

Brunswick was back in action Saturday night as they had a makeup game against Mayfield (9-4). The Blue Devils lead throughout the whole game, but couldn’t pull away from the Wildcats until the fourth quarter. Brunswick cruised to a 56-35 victory in another NOC Crossover matchup. Forsythe was the leading scorer with 28 points. Dunning and Kyle Wheeler both had 9 points.

Brunswick now improves to 10-5 on the season. They will host Medina on Tuesday at home.
