Appealing Free Agents for Browns

The Free Agent pool is coming upon us.   Rumors swirl about the Browns and possible players coming here.  Not to mention, rumors of Pro Bowl player Shaun Rogers wanting out of Cleveland after only one year.  Which the team and Rogers Agent says are not true.  Some players the Browns are considering and looking at to fill some holes could be:

Eric Barton, Jets, ILB-  Started 46 games for Eric Mangini and could be viewed as a stopgap starter.

Hank Poteat, Jets, CB-  Favorite of Mangini's and capable of filling in a CB and Safety.

Cody Spencer, Jets, ILB- Backup who also played special teams.  Will be only 28 eyars old in June.

Jason Brown, Ravens C- Powerful center and could make alot of money and be the highest paid at this position when all said and done.

Jim Leonhard, Ravens, FS-  Kokinis' prized discoveries who will be sought by the Jets and Rex Ryan.

Rashad Baker, Raiders, FS- Could be second option if Browns can't get Leonhard.  Career backup that is looking to get a starting position somewhere.

Deltha O'Neal, Patriots, CB-  Started 10 games for New England and is 31 years old.

James Sanders, Patriots, FS- Led New England DB's in tackles while starting the last two years.

Jake Grove, Raiders, C- Had 44 starts in 5 years with Oakland
